I am a business owner in Bethlehem, PA. I am also a student in the Dale Carnegie Course. Its principles have worked wonders and is changing my life. I received the "Breakthrough Award Pen." That little pen meant soooo much to me. I love the classes. It's fun,fast-paced and exciting. I already see myself different then when I started. The benefits of the class aren't just helping me in business but also in my personal life. In business, stress is inevitable but if you learn how to effectively handle stress you can stay focused and be more productive. The course teaches you how to handle the stress. I had such crippling fear of speaking that it was hard for me to communicate my ideas to others and I needed confidence, this brought additional stress for me. Most business owners are afraid to admit that they have these same fears. Through the training course, my instructors are helping me to develope courage to conquer my fear of speaking, build confidence, enhance people skills, reduce the stresses in my life and help develope the leadership skills needed to be successful. I highly recommend the Dale Carnegie Course to anyone who can relate to my story and feel that there's no hope for them. Now I am seeking openings on commitees just to have an opportunity to test drive what I've learned. Thanks to the Allentown group, John, Mike, Kim, Nancy, Marie, Alyssa and Kathy.
ReplyDeleteI am a business owner in Bethlehem, PA. I am also a student enrolled in the Dale Carnegie Course. I received the "Breakthrough Award Pen" a few weeks ago which took a lot of courage for me. That little pen meant sooooo much to me. It was a great accomplishment for me. This breakthrough was the reason I was in Dale Carnegie in the first place. I had a crippling fear of standing before people and speaking. I would get so nervous that I would make myself sick and lose my thought. This created more stress for me. Thank God for the course. I love the classes and I can already see myself different than when I first started. Wow! I'm so excited and I look forward to every class with new expectations for myself. The principles that my coaches have given me not only benefit in business but also in my personal everyday life. The course gave me the courage to overcome my fear of speaking, strengthen my people skills, enhance my communication skills and develope the leadership skills I need to be successful. A lot of business owners don't want to let on that they have the same fears and stresses. I would like to let them know that, "it's okay, there's help out there." Dale Carnegie is also helping me to learn to effectively reduce stress while maintaining a positive attitude and focus so I can be productive in business. Now I am requesting to be on commitees for the opportunity to speak and test what I've learned. I couldn't have done it without the coaching of Allentown's finest, John, Mike, Kim, Cathy, Marie, Nancy and Alyssa, they kept it fast-paced, fun and exciting. I highly recommend this course to all those who can relate to my story. If you have the courage to go to a course, Dale Carnegie has the power to transform your life and there's no telling where this training will take you in your future.
ReplyDeleteMy Dale Carnegie experience was an incredibly positive one. Not only did it help me in work (I work for the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce) but it helped me in my other career as well. It quickly became apparent to me that the class I took was not just a new way of interaction, but a new way of life. I am in the process of actually running for political office, and I found that the experiences I had at Dale Carnegie taught me invaluable advice from both a campaign (and hopefully, eventually, an office holding) perspective: it's not about you. Everyone in the world must train themselves to think from another person's perspective and to make a mutual connection with that person. Learning this was invaluable on the campaign trail, and if I am fortunate enough to be elected, I KNOW that this advice will be irreplacable in ensuring that I accurately represent my constituents.
